ERROR: "Resource error - Cannot find files for the following resources: [resource name]; details written to RESLIST.ERR"

Resolution

Pathways expects to find required files in certain folders and will display this error if it does not find them.   The details of which files are missing can be viewed in file \PWAY\TRACKLOG\RESLIST.ERR (Pathways version 4.2 and above).       For Pathways versions 4.0 and 4.1, the RESLIST.ERR log is located in the ERRLOG folder (\PWAY\ERRLOG\RESLIST.ERR).

If RESLIST.ERR in the \PWAY\TRACKLOG folder lists missing files, it will show both the folder and filename for each file. You can:

• copy missing files from a backup you have made
  
• copy missing files from a PLATO courseware CD (indicated by files in the \PWAY\CW folder)
  
• copy missing files from a Pathways system CD (for files in folders other than \PWAY\CW); refer to this list of courseware CDs and folders associated with PLATO courseware titles
  
• contact PLATO Support to obtain copies of files you cannot locate otherwise
