ERROR: "Invalid Account Login", "Invalid PLATO name", "Invalid password" message; where to get your login information or have your password reset

Issue You don't know your Account Login or you enter your login information, but are unable to log in. One of these messages displays: "Invalid Account Log In", "Invalid PLATO Name", "Invalid Password". Where do you get your login information or get your password reset?
Resolution Enter correct URL, account name, PLATO name, & password; contact instructor or administrator to get user name or have your password reset

Resolution

If you need to validate your login name or password:

 

Students: First make sure you are at the correct URL (http://asalgebra.platoweb.com).

 

Contact your instructor to verify your login information and reset or clear your password if necessary. If your user ID does not exist, one will need to be created for you. Your teacher or administrator will be able to assist you.

 

Instructors: Contact your Account Administrator to verify your login information and reset or clear your password if necessary.

Include all of the login field values that you are using: account login, PLATO name, and password.
