How to reinstall courseware or install courseware add-ons or license-addons:
Sign on to PLATO Pathways as an administrator.
- Insert the courseware installation CD. This contains the pwaycw.pkg and pwaycw.txt files. The text file shows you what the pkg file will install. Note: You will not start separate installations from the individual CDs, but will instead insert them when prompted.
- Click System Management > Courseware > Install Courseware.
- Navigate to the package (.pkg) file on the courseware installation CD.
- A message saying that the courseware is already installed displays.
- When prompted to do a custom installation, Click Yes.
- Double-click the grayed-out check mark next to the curriculum you wish to reinstall. (If it was previously uninstalled it will be a blank checkbox.)
- Answer "Yes" to the reinstall question.
- The checkbox should turn white. Repeat steps 6-7 for each curriculum to be reinstalled.
- If the courseware is being re-installed, the courseware titles will be uninstalled, then reinstalled.
If the courseware is being added on, or if licenses for existing courseware are being added on, then the courseware or licenses will be installed without any uninstallation.
